A young tenor with a warm and pleasing voice

William Branston

William has been singing for as long as he can remember. Born and raised in South Wales is a great advantage if you show any signs of musical talent as a youngster. The Welsh music festivals and competitions known as ‘Eisteddfods’ are a part of a wonderful music tradition that William has been extremely lucky to be a part of. From a young age he has performed in front of large audiences – sometimes for pleasure and sometimes for competition. In 2016 he is starting a Masters course at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London. He is studying with Tenor Lynton Atkinson.

Musical Interest
German Lieder, English Art Songs, Eric Whitacre Choral Music, Italian Opera, Bach, Vaughn-Williams, Holst, Rachmaninov Piano Concertos, and many more!

Interests
Staying fit and healthy by running and cycling, Reading classic fiction and science fiction novels, Online web development including social media marketing and related graphic design, playing the piano for pleasure, keeping up to date with current affairs and politics.
